Fables

Today we had a short period class with Dr. Jaya. We were taught about fables. A fable is a very short story which is meant to illustrate a point or teach us a lesson. Usually, but not always, fables are stories about animals that talk like people. The lesson that a fable teaches us is called a moral. We were also required to create our own fables and present it on Thursday's tutorial. Apart from that, Dr. Jaya also discussed about our teaching practice which will be held in February next year. Dr. Jaya said that we are free to choose which district in Melaka we want to go for the teaching practice. I have no idea where I want to do my teaching practice but I think I would prefer the rural areas. Lastly, Dr. Jaya discussed about our project paper and position paper. I have decided to write my project paper about the elements of Gothicism in novels written during the Victorian era. I'm looking forward to finish my project paper and hopefully Dr. Jaya will like it. :)
