The Ron Clark Story

Today I had to watch a film entitled The Ron Clark Story. I was informed that the film was based on a true event. The film is about a teacher named Ron Clark, who grew up in NC. He felt called to teach in NY after seeing a TV program showing the need for good, qualified teachers there. So, he went there and tried to get a job. He had difficulty at first and ended up waiting tables for a while and lived at the YMCA. I enjoyed this film and I think Matthew Perry did a good job with his role. I think what impacted me the most about this film is the fact that Ron Clark cared so much about his students that he basically invested his life (social, mental, and even the financial part apparently). Overall, I think film-viewers out there should watch this film because it will really keep you thinking of all the things a person can achieve and the film is a very good experience. Good move Perry.
